Extended family sessions are always extra special, and this one with Ashley’s family in Clemson, SC was no exception. Ashley is a fellow photographer (which made this feel even more special). It was such a meaningful way to capture multiple generations all in one place!
Ashley has two young daughters, and if you’ve ever tried to photograph toddlers, you know that they have their own ideas about how things should go. Her oldest wasn’t feeling the photo vibe, but we made it work. With some silly games, lots of movement, and plenty of patience, we ended up with the sweetest mix of posed and candid moments! Some of the best photos from the session happened during those playful, in-between moments.
We chose a peaceful location in Clemson, SC that gave us enough space to spread out and let the kids be kids. Everyone came dressed in perfect coordinating outfits that looked effortless and beautiful, classic neutrals with just enough variety to keep things visually interesting.
