McKnight Family Creek Session | Clemson SC Extended Family Photographer


This session with the McKnight family was such a blast. We met at a quiet little creek for their extended family photos, and it ended up being one of the most fun and refreshing ways to shoot in the middle of a hot summer.

I absolutely loved how relaxed and playful everyone was. The idea to do the session in the creek made it feel totally unique and the setting brought out the best kind of energy. Barefoot feet in the water, splashing kids, and real smiles all around. It felt less like a traditional photo session and more like a family afternoon that just happened to be beautifully photographed.

Extended family sessions are always special because they bring together multiple generations. Grandparents, siblings, cousins. It’s such a gift to document all the connections in one place. And with the water keeping things cooler, we were able to stay comfortable and playful even in the summer heat.

 

As a family photographer based in Clemson SC, I’m always up for something a little different. Outdoor sessions like this one are perfect when you want natural, candid moments and the creek gave us all of that and more.
